about us2Chris & Amanda are public relations students at Kent State University. Though they’ve both explored the blogosphere individually (Amanda here & Chris here), they thought that bringing their REAL LIFE social interaction to the online world would provide entertainment and enlightenment (debatable) to young professionals (more on this in the About the Blog section).

Amanda is an Honors student in her last semester of the PRKent undergraduate program, where she is actively involved with PRSSA. She has a year and a half of experience in corporate PR for major companies in Northeast Ohio, working for the last 9 months in the Global Communications department for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. A self-proclaimed “small town girl,” Amanda’s conservative inclinations come both from her time in the corporate world as well as her upbringing in a town so small it doesn’t even have a post office. She is easily distracted by soft & fuzzy OR small & shiny objects. Random Fact: Amanda’s favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn.

After four years of “frat-tastic” life at Miami University, Chris needed a break and decided to head back to his roots. “Hitting the snooze button on reality,” Chris entered the graduate PR program at Kent State, joining his father, Bill, in the fight to keep some Y-chromosomes in public relations. When he’s not out slaying deer or traveling the Arctic, Chris handles communications at Veyance Technologies while maintaining a 3.85 GPA.
